removing heatsink on video card?

Post by swinada »

Can somebody tell me a safe way to remove a heatsink on a videocard, without damaging the card?
I have a ATI 9200 and would like to install a iCEBERQ 4 fan cooler, but that old heatsink really seems to be glued on there and I'm kind of scared to just pry the heck out of it.

So does putting it in a freezer over night - heatsink usually pops right off.
