DVI Cable question

Post by nitro237 »

I am trying to find a 10' DVI cable for a friend that just bought a nice 19" LCD . It came with a 6' cable and he needs one a little longer .

I have found 2 types , the DVI-I and DVI-D . What's the difference and which one do I need ?

TIA

All the vid cards I have seen use DVI-I. As for the difference, I don't know.

"A DVI-I enables digital and analog signals. A DVI-D only allows digital signals."

i'm not promoting this company, but does this help?
