Kingston Technology = Thumbs Up

Post by NascarFool »

I just got two used sticks of Kingston HyperX KHX3500/256. The comp I put them in kept shutting down right after a BSOD. One stick showed 63 errors with Memtest within 90 minutes, the other stick showed no errors. I called Kingston and they are sending out two new sticks for replacement. It took about 10 minutes of phone time to take care of the RMA. Kingston tech support was kind and curteous the whole time. I give them a thumbs up for their service. :up

P.S.
They didn't even ask when or where I purchased the ram. :)

Glad to hear that I have two sticks of 512 HyperX running now. Your story is a far cry from what I have been thru with Crucial on RMA's. Word of warning if you buy Crucial ram buy it from them not a 3rd party vendor. They do honor the warranty but they make you jump thru hoops.

Kingston has excellent service/RMA support. They overnighted a pair of KHX3500s when one of them went bad, all at no charge to me (other than shipping the old ram back).
Welcome to the machine.
