I was thinking it's a toss up...till I remembered the 12 vs. 16 pipelines.

the x800pro is 12 pipes i think and the x800 is 16pipes. not positive though.

but after reading the {H} review showing the x800 pro and 6800 usually running about the same I really hope nvidias speed boost to be announced soon helps them catch the x800 xt

$500 for a x800xt. NOT IN A MILLION years will I pay that.

The only thing that I found strange about the HardOCP review was they use of Beta Catalyst drivers. would have been better to call it a preview. BUt who knows, it will probably change anyway when you can actually buy the thing.

I'm hoping to see a 9800 Pro for around $150 but that might take a little longer. This 9600 Pro is going to have to do the job until that happens tho.

I can't believe my 9800 Pro is already a year old..there have been far too few games that made full use of it. I think I'll hold off upgrading till ATi releases its successor to the X800XT this fall.
Welcome to the machine.

I'm gonna stick to my 9500pro until it cant runs games well anymore. No sense in upgrading it if it still works great.
