I found this modem in the trash It looked okay, and I poped it in, and guess what! it install fine! found it right away and insatlled the drivers! when I go to dial with it, guess what, the modem doesn't respond!
This probably is something I should know by now, but I don't know what I should do or what this means exactly.
this is the reson it's in the trash I assume :-D maybe it still has hope.. I dunno.

Not that I know of. I am trying all the drivers. here is all the info I got off the card...
It's FCC Model number is 0778
it's got a 3com chip that reads:
1.016.1777-00
TL16CFM7000PGE

the only writing on the board says:
U.S Robotics 94C-0
a smaller chip has this on it:
1.016.1223
US Robotics

HH0-10ADT6W
This looks exactly like a performance pro modem, however, those drivers won't work. should i toss it? - havn't tried ALL drivers possible for it yet.
