Help!!!!!

Post by jejepajs »

My PC turns on, but it doesnt enter to Bios or anything, the only thing that sounds is the fan of the procesor and the power supply monitor isnt reciving signal from the PC so it doesnt show anything.

The PC was turning off since a day before this happened, and i was just about to Format my PC.

When I turn on the PC the DVD drive opens but it wont work.

WHat can I do to fix this, i tried disconecting the herd drive and other things but it do the same as before, I dont know what else can i do, plz help me.

Try reseating

Your CPU, Video Card and Ram and see if that makes a difference. You might also try another PSU..

If you tried reseating your cpu, ram, ide cables, vid card, make sure they are all sitting snuggly in their correct spots.

Could be a bad motherboard

so it is the motherboard, cause I checked all the cables and they are all well conected, I mean, the PC didnt work before I disconected the hardware, and now that I disconected them, the PC still doesnt work.

well you say you were having problems with it before this happened, with it shutting off

First, like eGo suggested, try a different powersupply.
If that doesnt work, try swapping out the video card with another one that works

Then try a different motherboard

Its really hard to just pinpoint what the exact problem is when it could be any number of things
