i am embarrassed to ask, but need to make sure!
a buddy has a P4 2.4 533FSB Dell that uses Rambus memory (yeah, ick)...and now wants to upgrade to a motherboard that uses DDR because of cost, etc of the Rambus. there is no difference with the Rambus vs. DDR as far as the cpu is concerned, right? only the mobo is designed to use one or the other...so his P4 should be able to be used in any DDR P4 mobo, right?
He can use his processor.
