I'm in the process of copying a lot of old personal VHS tapes to DVD (like the B-Team stuff I posted in the cheers forum).
I've been capturing and editing in Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video 3 (fabulous program BTW) and using Vegas to also render the MPEG2 files.
I've then used Sonic's MyDVD 4 to create the DVD. It's easy to use, very easy to setup the DVD menu BUT I'm having a few issues with it. Sometimes I get a jitter effect for a few second at a time (sort of like frames are being dropped). It's not bad enough or often enough to totally piss me off, but it's annoying.
The problem is NOT in the MPEG2 file that Vegas creates so it looks like MyDVD is causing it when it burns the DVD.
I was wondering what everyone else is using to make DVDs that they can recommend?
Thanks...
What are you using to make home movie DVDs?

I use TMPGEnc to create .m2v and .mp2 files then DVD Maestro to make the actual DVD. Maestro is VERY powerful and pretty complicated.

Hmmm, going through some goodies a friend of mine gave me back in June who owns a recording studio. Vegas 4 and DVD Architect were in there (I'm using Vegas 3 now).
Time to install. CD Architect is an awesome program. DVD Architect should be good.
Nice to have friends in the biz...
