really? The 256meg radeon 9800 is setup just like that ram wise, banks of 4. the 128 verson is 2 togeather not 4. Also the 128 doesnt have ram sinks and is ddr compared to the 256 which is ddr2.
but avout the heatsink I used one on my 9700pro AIW and it was fine. but what I did to really cool it down was to attach a fan to a PCI slot cover down below and blowign air up onto the videocard. That Really cooled it well. I mean amazing cool. and I just used one of them silent fans and shut it up even more by putting it down to 7v. but if you leave it alone it works fine.
I dont know if saphire decided to use the board layout of the 256meg verson and just use smaller sized ram chips or if the wrong picture is just there or what but it doesnt add up.
