I was an NV fan for YEARS...but I'm more a fan of performance and quality than I am of the brand. It seems that the brand was getting in the way of kme actually paying attention to the poor quality and slower speeds of the NV cards.

Funny, it was the heat / cooling of the 5800/5900 NV cards that opened my eyes in the end. The 5800 I have at work sounds like a lawnmower, and the 5900 I have is quieter, but still noticable, even with 6 case fans. Besides, the damn cards run at like 50C or higher, thats not very good for keeping your ambient temps low :(

Welcome to the world of the Radeon...cooler, quieter, smaller, faster and prettier.
My Rig:
P4 EE 3.2 GHz (2MB L3 Cache)
1GB Corsair XMS PC3200
Radeon 9800 Pro (414/365)
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
(2) 120GB Seagate Baracuda V
Audigy 2 Platinum
