Printing Pictures w/LaserGJets in XPro
Ok Guys.. This is starting to get on my nerves.. I have to mak 25 copies of a 13 page application that I scanned into the computer. I'm using an HP 4+ LaserJet.. And it opens up the photo printer in XPro and then it takes FOREVER to even process the jobs and print one page if it doesn't reboot for some strange and unapparent reason.. Any ideas? eGo

Could be a memory problem. Did you close others running apps to see? Or use another photo app for printing and see if that helps.

You SCANNED it? 13 pages? Of course it's taking forever. You're printing 13 HUGE graphic image files. That's a LOT of data. Also depends on the resolution you've scanned them - higher res = bigger file. Don't bother scanning them over 200 dpi. That's good enough for any text photo copy. 200 is adequate.
What app are you using to print them? Some apps are a lot bigger memory hogs when printing images than others.
You have lots of free space on the boot partition? That print job is going to use a LOT of temp files (as much as a gig).

Yah, about 10 minutes after I posted this I got smart.. I looked at the set res. on the scanner and it was like 1200 so they files were like 15MB in size.. WAY to friggin' big.. So I just did it with a photocopier.. More work for me, but less hassle.. Thanx for the replies though.. eGo
