Partition problems

Im stumped, I created a new partition as a logical drive for data storage off of my main drive using partition magic 7, everything went through fine as far as I saw, the new partition which is drive letter H:
shows in everything including benchmarking software and when I go to save a file from dowloading, BUT will not show up in My Computer? What is up, I have rebooted, refreshed, etc etc.
Cant figure it out.
any help would be awesome.

What OS?

Is TweakUI installed? If not install it and under My Computer in TweakUI there's a setting for "Drives". Make sure the drive you want to use is enabled otherwise it won't be visible in My Computer.

In runnin xp pro Sp-1, I have tweak ui installed, silly me I thought once I had it partitioned etc, it would just put it up automatically. Thanks for the tip.

It should just have appeared in My Computer.

I'm just wondering if you or some app my have disabled certain drives. If the drive is checked in TweakUI then go to the Disk Manager (Administrative tools->Computer Management->Disk Management) and see if the partition is listed in there and is "Healthy". If it doesn't have a drive letter assigned to it then assign one.
