Cable Question

Im going to get some round blue ata cables for my rig, but I have notices a few say get them with a ground wire? the ones I ordered from the geeks dont seem to have one.. Will I have ouchies?

I never had issues with non ground wire round cables

Ground wire ? Hmmm . . I've never had a ground wire on any of mine.

im running scsi and mine are not grounded !
didnt know there were any rounded cables that are grounded
the Last time I was Talking to myself . I got into such a heated argument . that is why I swore I never talk to that guy again. you know what it worked now no buddy talking to me. :help

but the trick is, you have to solder that ground to another wire then place it in your mouth at all times or the computer will explode.

The one I checked out didn't offer that much better performance.

Can't see what the purpose of the gound wire is. The ribbon is already grounded thoroughly through the connector.

It's possible it has a shield, but I doubt it, that would be an expensive cable.

Either way, it's not necessary.
