NTbackup not compatible?

Post by Buzz »

I got this old Archive tape streamer... a DDS2 thingy. SCSI.

It looks nice... not much used imo. but i can't make it work.

It loads the tape without a hitch... and starts spinning. It's fairly quiet too. NTbackup finds it, and says the data is not recognised. Then it asks me if i want to prepare the tape for new job.

I say "yes" and it starts working. After a min or so, the streamer stops working, and gives me a flashing light (error i guess?)... the NTbackup crashes.

Should i trie some other backup proggie? Could NTbackup be the problem here?

Thanx! :)
