Ya know, it's kinda sad working on these things sometimes.
Had a friend bring her system to my house over the weekend.
The Kids (hers and mine) were watching dvd's with 5.1 sound on Brianna's computer (age 11), I was capturing a vhs tape to mine, the wife on hers was surfing the net while scanning/editing pics and printing.
Then I am working on this pentium 166, 64mb ram, 2gig hd win 95 system and she's talking about wanting to put her home movies onto disk and getting a scanner to put pics on disk, thinking she can upgrade this system to do it
I think that's why she brought it over to begin with, so I could see what she needed to do it!
Keyboard was shot, and CD to old to read cdrw's, no USB. (But we all have to start somewhere.)
Heck, I had to give her the keyboard off one of my old systems I play around with because the stack of new ones don't have the Large AT connecter or adapter.
But it makes me thankfull for the knowledge I have gained, skills I aquired, parts I acumalated, and friends I've gathered!!!
Thanks everyone for all the help you provide!!!!
I've learned alot hanging around here! And have had lots of fun also. Your all a great bunch of guys!
For many of us you are a real life saver at times! And always fun and interesting!
And to think I didn't even know what overclocking or case modding was a year ago!
And a specail Thanks to FP,
You've helped me out on alot on several things that were really driving me buggy!
