Ram question.

Here is the scene.

MSI kt4v 333.
have 256 pc2700 KINGSTON
Have 256 pc2100 Infineon
I know that ddr is backward compatable But what if running with another speed. I havnt got the stuff in or Id just trial n error it.

You asking if they'll work ok together? Should be no problem, unless you try and run the 2100 and 2700 speed. Still possible though.

Yeah im not going to OC the ram. just wanted to see if they would have a problem . I guess what happens is the 2700 basically sees the 2100 and knocks itself back to run with it??

I figured that was the way it went but always wanna be sure before I screw something up silly style.
