Gigabyte mobo default CPU temp alarm set at 110C!

Post by FlyingPenguin »

Well here's a laugh. I installed a new mobo for a friend, and the CPU alarm temperature in BIOS was set to 110 degrees C by default (yes C not F). What, are they nuts? Transistor junctions deteriorate at 90 C! I cranked that puppy down to 80C.
