Make a banner, WIN a Coolmax 550 Watt power supply

Post by Instarain »

To all the Graphic Guru's out there,

Need 2 good banners sets. Sizes 468X60 and 125X125 under 30k. Can be animated or not but must be good quality and show something about what e Powerhouse PC sells or computer parts. If animated must not be annoying. Looking for professional looking graphics please. Let your mind wonder and enter as many times as you wish. Post the pics here the I'll select the top ones on Jan. 31th.

Winner will receive a new 3-Fan Coolmax 550Watt power supply as reviewed here . Has a manually adjustable 3 speed fan control with an auto setting. Rear fan has 3 color led's. Runner up will receive a lighted rounded cable.

Must supply the .psd or .psx file if you win. Winners and runner ups will get mention on my banner page also.

Good luck to all! :) And remember, enter as often as you wish but do post your best ones.

Shipped free to those in the lower 48 states.

Thanks Again,

Instarain

Anyone who has no host for banners just email them to me and they'll be posted under your name. :)

Send banners here

Shockwave is ok.

I read this forum and started an image around 1:20am.. it's now 2:26am and I finished.. I made it flash and gif version...
Mind you the quality is turned down and the image speed should be adjusted, and the "powerhouse pc" part would be jazzed up a little and thebackground color is just some color i picked so you can see the image (can also do transparency, but it never looks as good as static color) And the size would be reduced but I don't feel like polishing it that much.. I'll work on a few alternatives as well seeing as I don't see any other images up yet....

It's just an idea... If you give me a slight idea maybe of what your looking for? keeping the same layout scheme you have now (Colors, etc?) or are you going to use new colors?

Let me know,
Eric

p.s. I'm sure a lot of other guys are way better than me on this board :-)

Logo Contest

Post by BigRed »

I've sent my wide logo to blade, hopefully he posts it soon

The logo needs to be tweaked, filesize is 35k right now in gif format, and there's some other stuff, but all in all it turned out pretty good.

P.S. Thanks Blade! :)

Flash is tricky and not my strong point at all. Some flash ads we have are linked differently. But with yours I'd assume just upload the .swf file and link to that., If you have no way to upload it just send it to me. ;) And I'll try with it.

it's not that hard, just have the person who's making the flash, read the URL from an external file. create an external file that contains the URL location in which you want the onCLICK event to load upon clicking the flash.
