Asus P4PE...yea or nay?

Post by Lazlo Panaflex »

Hey P4PE owners, just wanted to get your thoughts on this mobo, i.e. performance, installation, overclocking, etc....it's on my short list at the moment (the non-Serial ATA version).

thanks -

hmmm...ok..but how do you really feel about it, Tunis? :)

Does Asus turn on the AGP/PCI lock automatically, or does one have to go enable it manually in the BIOS?

I just built a 2.4 with this board. Lots of features... i liked it, though i'm NOT a fan of the Phoenix BIOS Asus loves so much.
PCI/AGP clock was auto i guess... can't remember seeing or changing a setting like that.

Pretty sure it was manually. There's a lot of reviews on the net for the board, just "google" it... :)
