HURRAH!! New comp is finished, but have some questions

Here are the specs on it:

Athlon XP 2100
1GB Kingston DDR 2700 (in 2 DIMMs)
Radeon 8500 128MB
Gigabyte GA-7VAX
Audigy MP3+
WD 80GB 8MB Cache
Maxtor 40GB
LG DVD/CD-RW 8/12-8-32
Samsung 17" SyncMaster 753

Wanted just to ask a few questions that have been on my mind. First, on the screen that appears right after POST, I see this "Check System Health !". I don't believe anything is going wrong, hell, I'm on it right now. Still, just wanted to know what it might mean if anyone can help...

Second, my comp says I'm running an Athlon XP 1500+ in System Properties and the screen after POST. Is that a problem or is that just how it reports it?

Thanks in advance for the help. I must say, life is much better now that I can play BF1942 without ANY skips.

A lot of times that is because the hardware monitor can't detect a speed signal from the CPU fan. If the CPU fan is spinning, I wouldn't worry.

it's because you forgot to set your bus speed to 133.

Go into BIOS and go to the "System Health" menu. The mobo is trying to warn you about something - a fan running slow or a temp that's too high.

It might just be incorrectly sensing a fan speed, or maybe you don't have a fan plugged into one of the fan headers.

Usually the mobo reports your ACTUAL CPU speed (which is not 2100 in your case, but should be around 1700). If you're running WinXP right click on My Computer and see if it lists your processor properly in the lower right hand corner.

probably the 100/133 on the post up - the system health screen - what the others said - it may also want you to set a temperature shutdown # or something - not familiar with gigabyte bios - BF1942 does luv memory!
