Not sure the manufactorer, but I would have to say My favorite is a 32bit 486 dx 4 100 system board!
Has 4 32bit slots that can use any size Isa card, 3 16 bit slots that use 8 or 16 bit cards and 1 8 bit slot, used mostly for modems. It is HARDWARE, JUMPER set up, This is GREAT for stopping WINcrapDOZE from erasing, forgetting and otherwise messing with my settings once I get it the way "I" want it setup!
Uses all cards, nothing built in to go bad or eat resources, just buy the card/s I want set the jumpers and it works nicely. (to bad I can't find cards for it now adays!)
Supports up to AMD DX4 100 cpu's! Runs good as ever, no heat problems to worry about, and even runs windoze 98se!
Of course running 98se makes the supper fast system crawl like a turtle, but man put DOS or Win 3.1 on it and it FLIES!!
Tweak out this board a bit and I could probably break the 120mhz barrier!
I geuss my main reason for this being my favorite board is it is the first REAL computer I ever built from scratch, the rest were INTELS before that
State of the art DX4 100 AMD, 1 gig HD, 8 megs ram, whole system only cost me about a grand to build!! 32bit video and 32 bit controller card and all!
Harddrive crashed and was replaced with a 2 gig, ram is upgraded to 64 megs now, still same controller card and video card, same CPU and system board! Heck even still the same case and P/s!
Had it on the network with a 10mbs card. Gonna bring it back again soon!
Yep, don't know the manufactorer, but that is my favorite system board and system.
Then again I also like this Iwill xp333 really well too!! To new to have any expeience with it though.
Biostar M7vib (I think) seems to be ok for a stock system, though my temps read a bit on the high side.
No real complaints, but would not recomend since a Iwill or Shuttle seem much better and not a whole lot more!
