Cant get a CS 1.4 dedicated server to work, error of bad netsendpacket address,plzhlp

I cant figure it out
I got a dedicated server to work fine when I just installed CS (retail version) 1.0
but as soon as I update it to version 1.4, I get the errors
anyone know how to fix it?

is this a lan or net server

opps.....sorry forgot to mention

it is a lan server, no internet connection

as far as the server.cfg, it is all the basic notes, I have not edited anything in that file

whats the HL ded program?

This file is the full stand-alone Half-Life server version 4.1.0.9 for Windows. The new version of Server/Client are not compatible with old versions of Half-Life

heh, no way I will be able to DL the 112.5 MB file now

but thats for the HL server, I was trying to run a CS (and this is the retail version, not the mod version) server

well...the weekend is over now
I was trying to get this fixed for sat, sunday

I had no other need for a cs dedicated other than the lan party. I appreciate it though
