V3-3000 drivers for Win2K anyone?

Post by EvilHorace »

I'm having problems finding decent, stable drivers for my V3-3000 card in my older PC now running Win2K. Apparently they're not on the driver CD (can't find them) and I found some online but it only worked for a while, now the picture's bad.
If anyone knows of decent ones, please let me know asap.

I've always used the latest official drivers from 3Dfx before they went under.

http://www.reactorcritical.com/files/3d ... .02.00.exe

Also http://www.reactorcritical.com lists some beta drivers....

Thanks for the quick response guys. I tryed Docs method first, using the 3dfx driver removal tool first, then the Win2K driver there and it's lookin' good :)
Now.....just trying to debug a few game driver issues, always fun ;) . At least I'm gaining :)

I thought that Win2k had native Voodoo3 driver support?

There are native Voodoo3 drivers on the Win2000 CD but I think they're kinda limited.
Like the native SB!Live drivers that only support 2 speakers ...
