moniter advice

Post by marscheese »

I'm just wondering, what's a good moniter? I'm wanting a 19" CRT with preferably no more than .25 dpi. Right Now I'm using a Dell Trinitron. My friend is using a NEC FP950, and it looks really good. I was concidering an FP955, but after reading a review of it, it sounds like (though it's good) it's not worth the price. In any case, I'm just wanting recomendations, etc. Preferably not to cost an arm and a leg. Thanks in advance.

What model # is that Dell you're using? If your dad ends up taking it from you, that would definitly be a cheap way to go. It looked nice while I was there--had good color and clarity and all. If it's the model I was looking at, at dell then it has .26dpi and resolutions up to 1600x1200 which is plenty. And if you can get it for $130 or so as the receipt said, thats a steal.
