MP or not to MP

I know its not recommended, but are there comfirmed reports that people can use two 'regular' socket A Athlons instead of the MP versions in the new athlon dual motherboards from Tyan and Asus.

i have seen a few saying they have done it. but my guess is it is the luck of the draw.
