Post by fearfox »

okay guys i had this cd burner for awhile it was running fine under windows xp now i have installed win2k and now for some reason it gives me unspecified error under win2k i am using easy cd creator 5.0
i thought maybe it was easy cd creator 5.0 so installed the easy cd creator 4.0 now i can burn a cd halfway until it crashes.

is it bad cd burner or what should i do? i am thinking of calling phillips company! for replacement

Try with DMA and then without DMA. My son had a new Phillips 8x that turned out to be junk.

Sounds like it's some conflict with win 2k, since it only started this when going to win 2k. Probably a conflict as nexus said. Maybe try going back to xp.
