Friggin' FREECELL?
I spent a half hour trying to figure out why a client's Freecell game wasn't working today. The graphics were totally corrupt and it crashed.
Checked video drivers, checked DX (FreeCell uses DirectDraw) check everything. Then started turning background apps off. It's McAfee Anti-Virus!
I tell myself "NAW that's not possible".
I do a quick search on the newgroups using "FREECELL" and "MCAFEE" and BEHOLD. Literally hundreds of posts with people bitching that McAfee screws up FreeCell (FREECELL? Who the $%^# even plays that game except old ladies?).
My problem is that if McAfee messes up FreeCell, what ELSE is it messing up?
Now THIS is wierd: McAfee interferes with FreeCell game?
