my dad's work has two pc's networked together, a pc and a macintosh. they are trying to share a laserjet printer hooked up to the mac.
using the pc and checking under network neighborhood, would i be able to "see" the apple computer's path? if so, should i be able to do the usual "add printer" function via windows assuming it's path shows up on the network?
it seems their lan admin is out sick and he (my dad) needs to get some work done today.
sharing a printer on a MAC & PC??

yeah dude, it is possible. i got to do it before school started when i was helpiung the tech ed teacher set up. um, i think that that is right but i am not positive. for some computers it was very simple to do. but for other ones it was really hard. since there on the same network it should show up. cant guarantee anything but i know it does work.
Have no fear, the BEEF is here.
