I got my Senfu cooler yesterday...

And wow... I looks pretty damn sweet... I got the thermal sensor for it also reading 38.9 C on the sensor and 36C in MBM... I don't think MBM reports the correct temp... Sandra shows the CPU temp as 38C so... I have my 1.33@1.53 1.85v's... Unload 96F loaded 104F before with my Taisol it was 107 unloaded and 120 loaded... My chip don't want to do 1.6 anymore guess its gettin' weak on me oh well 1.53 is plenty fast.... Also any of you with XPs what are your temps... I got my dad's 1600+ up yesterday all default with retail cooling it was running 102 unloaded... Never put a load on it to see how hot it would get... Anyone know what cooler AMD uses. To me it looks like a Volcano 5.

I compared the Senfu against a sk6 under same conditions and with the same fan. The Senfu cooled better, running prime 95 it cooled my cpu 5 degrees better than the sk6 did. It's an awesome heatsink that most just are not familar with. Plus it's new and the sk6 has been around and is more well known so everyone wants it. At $20 it's a major bargain.

Ya just have to put a quieter fan on it as one would do with the sk6.

To bad you couldn't get back to 1.6 anymore though.

Ya i tried everything to get it to 1.6 cranked it up to 2.15v's and it just wouldn't stay stable... I've got the Delta on it right now... The Volcano 2 fan is going on later... I did take and lap the hell out of hte bottom... That was my only real bitch about the heatsink... I thought the bottom of it was way too rough... Took some 400 then 600 then 1000 then 1500 to it

Now the bottom shines too...

For the price it really is a awesome heatsink... Cools great looks great and i about died when i seen the packaging it came in... The screw driver was cheesy and the goop was tossed in the trash cause i have AS and Alumina now thanks to HighSpeed. But the cool plastic case was great... Now i got something to store the tons of screws in that i have

That packaging is most awesome isn't it.

Great for keeping screws, compound etc. in it for sure. The included screwdriver is too small to install this heatsink so I used a slightly larger one. But it still has uses since it's reversable. I use it a lot for other things. It's the perfect size to help install those dr thermal heatsinks. And those btw are most eggselent also.

And no doubt motherboard monitor isn't always accurate probably because the mobo temp sensor's are not accurate in most mobos. The ak31 I use is pretty close, just runs 1-2 degrees off when using an additional temp sensor.

Ans isn't alumina so much better than as II. Cools about the same but far easier to clean up.

I used the screw driver to take the fan off my taisol worked really well to get through the holes and fits the screws better than the one i was using. The alumina is nice. Lot easier to work with and cleans a lot nicer... Definaly well worth the price for what you get...

I got a Senfu cooler for my new XP1700+ the first few days it was keeping things around 32c at idle and areound 40c under a load. Today I was seeing temps around 38c idle and 43c under a load. I started getting kind of nervous and thinking I should have got a SK6. Then I noticed my case temp was up to about 31c when it had been around 22c. Then I walked outside damn the sun was shining and the thermometer on the porch read 88f. So I found an AC temp probe I had and the temp in the room with the computer was 92f I guess that explains it. Two things for sure about it. 1) It looks awesome nice and shiny just plain good looking 2) The fan that comes on it is too loud. I thought that fan noise would not bother me my case has 4 80mm High output Sunon's in it and I didn't think any 60mm fan could make a difference. Boy was I wrong. The first morining I had it when I fired it up it woke up the kids in the next room.

I just put my volcano 2 fan on it... Idle 102 loaded 114... Still better than what i was gettin' before so i'm happy

When I used it dogs were barking neighborhoods away. Darn, we need to use this weapon against the terrorists in afghanistan. They'd give up in a hurry.

And btw guys. The fan off a volcano 5 is more powerful. The rated 36cfm of the v2 fan isn't correct. It's more like 26-28 cfm. I compared it against some deltas that are rated at 36cfm and the v2 didn't cool as well. The fan off a v5 is rated at 32cfm and I think that is correct since it clearly cools better than a v2 fan.

ya i figured that out also blade it don't move the air that the delta does and it only suppose to be a few cfm less than the delta... I'm still happy with it its quiet!

it is closer to 31-32 from what I have guessed. it cools a little better then a y's tech fan that are rated at 27. eithor way it is the quietest 60mm fan that pushes a decent amount of air. If I didntalready have a pile of fricken heatsinks here I would give scott at Highspeedpc some more business to.

Seems like it is a good system build heatsink. doesnt cost Millions and proforms about the same as the big expensive boys. I wonder what design they will come up with next.
