Alright...

I found this guy on ebay who was selling parts for a Honda Prelude. He had a part I wanted, but not on auction. He agreed to sell it to me for $90 shipped. I paypal'd him the money on 2/17 and waited... I waited and waited. He was always saying that he was going to ship it tomorrow blah blah. On 3/13 I asked him for a refund. He agreed to that. On 3/17 he said he tried to send me a refund but some BS about his computer not letting him do so. I asked him about my refund on 3/20 and he said he was going to ship out the sunroof on 3/22!!! I DIDN'T WANT IT ANYMORE! He kept lying saying I called him on the phone telling him to send it and he's telling me to stop prank calling him! I have never ever called the guy! Nevermind the state of Michigan. This guy has gone nuts. His e-mails to me now are nothing but insults and he keeps spamming me with messages to other people about other items... He has done that a few times already.

My dilemma is that now the supposed sunroof panel for my car is on its way. According to UPS's site, the package weighs 20 pounds... A sunroof panel for my car does not weigh 20 pounds. I'm worried that he's sending me a load of bricks or something else and I will be left hanging high and dry. But then again, if I refuse the shipment of the item, chances are that he will not refund me the money, again.

PayPal is of no use cuz I requested their help 30 days AFTER the transaction began and therefore not covered by their protection policy.

I have contacted the FBI's fraud group and I'm working on contacting the attorney general and his local police department.

What do I do?

So you've already paid him and it's past the 30 days where pay pal will help you?

If he has already refunded you, then I'd not accept the package. Unless you want to take a chance and want the sunroof.

One thing if you do accept it, open the package in front of the ups man. If it is something other than the sunroof, at least you'lll have proof. Get the ups man to write it down for you what the contents are, and the shape they are in.

Hopefully it'll be exactly what you wanted. But I can see where you'd have your doubts. Whatever ends up happening, do leave him an appropriate eval mentioning the delayed shipping and bizzare excuses/attitude.

I got the sunroof. Its not "perfect" like he said... but I got it. I hate that guy.

Next time I won't be so dumb and patient with ANYONE!!
