I was just looking at these 2 boards and i cant figure out what the differance is... other then its $2 more for an AN7.
I also noticed abit says you can only use 400mhz fsb if your using 2 dimms and not 3.... is this like this for all Nforce2 boards mabey thats why i cant stay stable at 400mhz fsb on my other nforce board im using 3 dimms

The AN7....
...is a good board, but I don't use the uGuru feature. You need to use the temperature / voltage monitoring stuff (Abit EQ), because other applications like Motherboard Monitor 5 can't address the special uGuru chip which is a microprocessor by itself. I use MMB5 just to get the CPU speed, and then Abit EQ to read the temperatures and voltages when I'm curious.
The great stuff about this board is that you can easily run the Athlon XP 2500+ as a 3200+ with the 200 MHz FSB (if your CPU is unlocked). Abit recently updated the bios (03-04-04), and it fixed a few minor issues. Also, it has the SATA RAID feature, so I'm running two WD 36GB 10kRPM Raptors in a RAID-0 configuration for maximum speed. It works very well, very well indeed.
