Please help me, i need to oc my first pc ;-)
this is the configuration:

middle tower 500watt (4 case fan 80x80)
abit NF7-S rev2.0
barton 2500+
2x256 kingston hyperx pc3500
cpufan maybe aero7+ (see my post http://www.pcabusers.com/forums/showthr ... adid=27738 )

With help of some friends and other people i arrive to this solution:

vcore 1.75/1.8 fsb 215/220 mult 10x timings 2225 vdimm 2.9 (2.8 from bios)

Is it correct or i need other configurations?
Can i do more or less with my cooling system?
Help me!!! tnx all :D

that looks like it's in the ballpark, but you need to start at stock settings, load everything you might want and then work up the the fsb -

take the fsb up at stock voltage until it stalls , then add .5 v

repeat until you figure out your highest fsb - thenyou can start playing with the multi

your best combo is usually somewhat less than highest fsb/highest multi

the higher the fsb, the more heat you generate in the mobo, so you may want to consider some additional coolling for the mobo - a lot of folks have some sort of case fan inside the case blowing on the mobo sort of zalman like

each combo turns out to be a little different - you'll just have to play with it

welcome to PCA!

i put 4 case fan 80x80 (2 in and 2 out)
i hope this is enaught!
I know the procedure to increase the fsb then the vcore , but before do i must set timings(2225) and vdimm (2.8)? then fsb and vcore?
the aero7+ is good or i need thermaltake slk900-u??
tnx all!

A thermalright should kick the aero 7s azz. 4 fans should be plenty, just make sure they are set up logicaly to promote good flow

how to logically promote good flow?
Is it right to use 2 fan 80x80 for in flow
and 2 fan 80x80 for out flow??
