XP on K7S5A??

I'm running a 1gz Tbird on a K7S5A that I bought a year ago..
i'm not sure what the version is..
how can I tell if this board support the new XP processors?
I wanna switch to a 2000xp+..
anyone knows..?

you need a revision 3.1 board. should tell you what revision on the last pci slot i believe.

is there a small sticker label near the edge of the board close to the last slot?
there's a small "3" on it..
does it mean it won't support the XP chips?

kyo, I built my mate a PC using a revision 1.0 K7S5A and an XP1800, and he's had no bother at all. (this was only about 6 months ago)
You might want to flash the BIOS to the latest version, to be on the safe side - don't think it's absolutely necessary though.
The ECS website has the lastest official drivers.
