I am being driven mad by the noise of the two fans on my two 2000+'s

Does anyone know if you can hook up two Innovatek heads in a serial configuration to keep a pair of CPU's cool? I know I could just set up a large pipe from a beefy pump, but that wont be needed if I cen just buy this kit with two coolers and hook them up in serial.

I guess what I am asking is, is the water coming out of one cooler still able to cool a second chip? even if its not cooling it to 20 degrees, as long as it keeps a fair amount in spec i'll be happy.


If someone can recommend a silent fan that can keep a 2000+ cool too I might just go that way, but putting the pump in the next room is awfully tempting...

I've got a Coolermaster Heatpip on a 1700+ thats running at 1.7 Gigs 1.95 v's... 109 load temp and 98 idle that is overclocked pretty good... It ha sa 7k fan on it but its pretty quiet for being that fast of a fan... I hear my case fans over it and my case fans are only 28db fans...

Its moreso the annoying interplay of frequencies between the case, ps, cpu, cpu, and front fans. I wouldnt mind banishing the two cpu fans.

The sound level isnt too much of a problem because my klipsch set can easly drown them out. But the change in sound is what bothers me.

Just split the line of "cool" water going out from the pump into two lines, and then hook the "used" water lines coming out into one..... simple...

Keep in mind that the speed loss(because of the split) shouldn't matter much, if anything, it should help temperatures.... slower water has more time to absorb more heat......
