EP-8KHA+ OC results

Post by daveshel »

I was a little disappointed that I could only get my 1700XP up to 1551MHz (141MHz FSB, equivalent to an 1800XP). I'm using a dragon orb, so cooling isn't an issue. My RAM, video card, SCSI hard drives and everything else was stable at 150MHz FSB with my last board/processor, so I figure the only thing to question is the board or the silicon. Wondering if anyone has done any better with the 8KHA+.

Check the forums at http://www.amdmb.com I have read where some of the early bios for that board had problems with rebooting at higher bus speeds but they seem to have been fixed with bios upgrade. Good Luck
