What is the max MULTILPIER on the Iwill KK266?

Post by Zak33 »

Does anyone know how high the multiplier goes on that bad boy mobo?

Also, in the memory stakes, what does the ECC mean in this Crucial description?

SDRAM, PC133 • CL=2 • Unbuffered • ECC • 7.5ns • 3.3V • 32Meg x 72

Is it Error Correction something or other? Is it better than None parity? And will it run in the iWILL BOARD?

Look forward to nice fat juicy answers?

Like YES or No!!!! ;)

Yes.

Yes and no. If you were running a server then the ECC stuff would be better for you. But if you are just building a computer that runs games and whatnot, ECC actually slows down the RAM.

Yes.

was hoping the multiplier would go to 15x cos I dont wanna up the FSB to get an AXIA to 1.2 or 1.3........
cos my SCSI card doesn't like high FSB at all.

I just read a review that suggested it DOES have 15x multiplier, so who knows?

Shall see soon, got to go find BIOS now!
