Aquarius II or Sp-97

Post by Xboxgp »

All right, I can't decide. I don't go to LAN parties so I'm not worried about having to carry water cooling gear around. There's a person I know selling the kit for 100$cdn, so it isn't all the more expensive then the 85$cdn Thermalright SP-97. Would I notice any difference at all using that water cooling kit? Should I stick to air? This is for a mobile 2500+ on an Abit NF7-S so I want to try and o/c as much as possible.

Thanks!

If you have a choice between only those two....go with the SP-97. The aquarius wont get you to your max OC. The sp-97 wont either....but it will be pretty damn close

If you need to overclock to your max.... watercooling might be the final option. But you should get a better set up. The aquarius wont carry you all the way cause its not ment for pushing the limits.

Spend the money and get a better watercooling kit if you NEED to watercool. Go with a Innovatek kit or just piece it together yourself.
Gone for good. But never say never

97 and a decent fan. i have one and im running this 2500 xp @ 3200 speeds quietly and rock solid 24/7 with folding, so it is loaded down and not just idiling most the time.
