Post by cheesehead »

What do you think of this motherboard? I am trying to biuld someone a system with a Barton 2500, and this seems like a good mobo for the price.

I have the NFII Ultra Infinity. It is a model or two above that mobo. It is about $20 higher too. The "AL" only has one SATA port and the one I have has four SATA ports. The model that I have is an extremely good board. I replaced an Epox 8RDA3+ with the Ultra Infinity. I have no regrets in the upgrade. :)

I see your point.
Could you point out where I can find the better mobo? This computer is for someone who does not want/need the extra SATA ports, so perhaps this might be a better idea.
Also....what's the best heatsink for this that is less than 40.00?

SLK700 w/ 70mm YS Tech TMD fan. You can get it as a combo at http://www.kdcomputers.com for like $24 and a few bux for shipping.
