Some advice please

Post by HeadShok »

I have had boot problems ]Here
Today at 5:30am i started Prime 95
i got home at 3:30pm and it was still running
AFAIK if i had a problem either the prog would stop or my PC would crash
i still cannot figure out what is wrong
it still hangs on detecting the RAID
hit reset and it boots fine
Who can suggest anything else to do
to diagnose the prob

This is my Rig
Thanks

Instead of posting a link to a different forum about a problem your having. Show a little respect for this place and copy and paste the text.... :) But to me it sounds like there's either a) a conflict of some sorts... b) jumper settings on a drive might be incorrect or c) the psu is going...

Do some research on the Abit FAQ site....

I would spend some time on the Abit web site, reviewing the FAQ sections pertaining to your mainboard. Perhaps all you need is a driver update, either for the Via 4-in-1 drivers or for your RAID controller. Maybe there is a special way to configure the controller for WinXP. Good luck.

Lots of hand-built and modded AMD systems.
