Hey Apex, how ya been? Good to see ya, many of us remember you from AGN or Anandtech before the Got|Apex days (but we heard of G|A as well ;) ). Very nice monitor, wish I had some dough.

holy moly, that's a really nice price.

It sure would be a nice step (or two or two thousand) up from my current 14" NEC.

Hehe, hey folks. Yeah, long time no see. It has been awhile since the old AGN days, eh? I've been pretty crazy busy, unfortunately.

The wife says I got to start getting rid of some of my toys. I figure I'd start with the things I haven't opened yet.

I would buy this in an instant if I lived in the US. Unfortunately shipping to Canada plus custom taxes would drain my wallet. I guess I could just drool. :)

Ah yeah, Canada. Probably wouldn't be worth the cost of customs and shipping, unfortunately. :(

I bought a Mitsubishi 21" last year Tom so it would be hard to justify this one. Heck, the monitor cost almost as much as my entire machine. This particular SONY model was my first choice though and the picture is awesome. I had the opportunity to see it side by side with a bunch of different monitors and it is clearly the best of breed for anything in this price range...

This would be shipped from California actually. We're pretty lucky. It's JUST small enough for UPS to ship. It's roughly $45 for shipping and aboug $5 for insurance (I'd suggest insuring it). The last Nokia I shipped was slighly bigger so it had to go fedex large package. That was $120. :(

was just thinking how proviliged my g400max would be if I had my g500 and your f500 on it. that would be one slick setup. never got my $200 from pointclick for ordering threw them. Darn. ;(
