I just got this from an Ebay auction and found out that it isn't compatible with my Motherboard. I need to sell or trade. I rather settle for an Athlon 1.3ghz than this. I rather no trade first since the value of this item is high but I will if neccessary. I also have a 256MB PC133 RAM that I was going to use to upgrade my 256MB PC133 RAM (don't really need 512MB RAM, LOL). I'll will sell the P4 for $350 shipped with insurance and confirmation. I will sell the 256MB RAM for $45 shipped with insurance and confirmation. I will trade for the following-->

I want send 1st if you are buying. There is a rule in this world is that if you are buying you have to pay first. Ebay sellers don't send item than tell buyer to send payment. Stores don't let people take the item home than tell the to send the money...

If you are an unestablished trader you will normaly be required to send first to well established trader's
Until you have established yourself and proven you can and will deliver the good's

exactly this ant egay and no store. the way things work around here is U check a person refferances on a site called heatware found here: http://heatware.elitehardware.com/

no one in there right mind would pay you first with this being your first post and no heatwares. sorry dude but it ant gana happen. that is why you go with people that have a good amount of refferances that way you dont have anythign to worry about. where you live?

i didnt see your name on Heatware anywhere. most the main fourms usethat as a way to track a persons credibility in the non auction world. so where do you live?

if you would just settle down for a sec you could ask a simpel question like are thee any other options? sure you can use a Third party where you both ship your stuff to and then once he gets both he mails them on to there destniation or something like that.

I dont think it really matters that you have dont X amount of deals when there is no proof or what ever U want to call it. Im not trying to sould liek a jerk or finger you a a troll or what ever It just isnt gana happen. You are here and have no refferances. not ebay or where ever.

I understand your feelings dude but if you want to sell it HERE you WILL have to provide refs that WE know. Egay doesnt count. No one is trying to rip you off or make youmad thats just how its done here and most of traders here frequent other boards like Anandtech and HardOCP forums. The link nexus gave is how we keep up with trades and also to keep up with the con artist. Unless you have refs there or unless you can come up with some names that we recognize and if those folks will vouch for you then more than likely have to ship first or no one here is gonna buy it. Thats the facts jack. If you want to check on our refs, go to heatware and punch in our nicks.

I was intreasted in your ram but U have 2 ship first to me as well. I have over 200 evals on heatware and have been trading for many years with this bunch of great guys threw all there changes of boards. so if My 200+ positive evals arnt enough for You to ship first no one else here is gana have a chance..except maby compuwiz and red.

Everyone here has been in your position at one time. We were all new once. Just because you've traded elsewhere doesnt mean that anyone here knows you. And if no one knows you then no one is gonna send you $350 up front. What boards have you traded at? The secret to a good trade when your new is to trade with folks like nexus and others who are very well known on this board and numerous others. A good eval from those guys makes a big difference. Trust me

Well you say you have done over 35 transactions? Where at? Where can we go ask about you at? Will they vouch for you.

And no..i'm not interested in the product..i'm just a thread crasher
