How out an even up trade?

I have a 20.5GB WD that is actually an Expert (IBM Clone) that I bought new about 4 months ago. Are you specifically asking for the GXP75 for RAID or would this do?

I specificaly want a 75 GXP becasue they are supposed to be very quiet.

It's not really that the Maxtor is hidiously loud or anything, but since I replaced all my fans with Panaflo L1As, the hard drive is the loudest thing in the system. (well besides when the CD-ROM spins up)

I hear a high steady pitch from the drive as soon as I power on. This was the same in the last three Maxtors I've owned.

Just trying to get as quiet as possible.

I know about the fujitsu MPF and MPG but Tom's Hardware said the 75GXP was just about as quiet and I'd still like the great perfomance of the GXP.
