I need some round IDE and SCSI cables. I prefer UDMA66 cables for the IDE cables. Have cash or trades. If you know where I can get some, please let me know
Thanks!

I've never heard of working round ata66/100 cables. There would be too much crosstalk between the wires.

People claims that it's possible to round the newer ATA66/100 cables and report no problems, where as, older cables was near impossible w/o exposing some wires. I screwed up about (6) older ATA66 cables and I just gave up. Maybe I just don't have the patience.
Anyway, it is possible from what I hear so good luck in finding some.

I know whatcha mean damien6, I screwed up a few myself, then I just folded the cable, (Accordian style) onto itself, then tucked it into split-loam tube, taped the ends with black elec. tape, and it looks & works fine, no cross-talk problems at all

Edit: Just last week there was a guy on Screensavers, (I know, a-holes, but there was nothing else on

) showing how to doit
http://www.techtv.com/screensavers/show ... 85,00.html,
This guy separates each wire??? (that'll be MADDD Hard on the ATA66, I did it last night on a 50pin scsi cable, which wasn't that bad, but to do it on an ata66, or an 68pin UW scsi cable, you'd need the hands of a Micro-surgeon, and a microscope, anyway, grist for the mill
