Had a problem with a laptop and bought another one just like it (almost) to swap some parts around and make a working laptop and it didn't work out. I'm looking to trade them off for something of interest.

Would consider the following items.....

Sdram - cdrw - IDE Hard Drives

Here's the details......

1.
Compaq Armada 3500 6366/T/6400/0/0/1
PII 366 processor
64mb onboard memory
13.3" screen
Has caddy with screws but no hard drive
The battery appears to take a charge but I don't know how long it will hold it.
The screen and cosmetics on this laptop are pretty nice.
From what I can tell the onboard memory
has a problem and I never could get windows to load
on it.

2.
Compaq Armada 3500 6300/T/6400/0/0/1
PII 300 Processor
64mb onboard memory
13.3" Screen
Has no caddy or hard drive
The screen and cosmetics on this laptop are excellent.
From what I can tell the IDE controller on the laptop
doesn't work and it won't detect a hard drive. I tried
3 known good working hard drives in it and it would
never detect any of them.
The battery appears to take a charge but I don't know how long it will hold it.

3.
I have one mobile expansion unit "MEU" that has the cdrom and the LS120 super
disk drive in it along with the power cord. I know the cdrom and floppy/LS120 drive
are working since it's what I used to try to install windows in laptop #1 and the floppy
and both cdrom drive worked.

All hinge covers and screen latches are there and both laptops haven't been
hurt cosmetically dring their lives.

Hope this is of some interest to someone who wants to get a good project going on.

I don't check PM's here so you'll have to email me at
