WTB: AMD Athlon XP 2000 - 2600 CPU

Post by chewmanfoo »

Hey,

I'm looking for an AMD Athlon XP CPU in the range of 2000 to 2600 mHz to use with an ASUS A7V333 motherboard. If anyone has one for sale, please let me know.

Thanks!

XP Chips....

Post by OldMan »

I've probably got a dozen or so chips in the drawer in my benching room. Are
you looking for a good overclocker or something just to get by or?

Say this because I have a few hand picked chips that stood out pretty well
runnin on air or water cooling.

Still have 3 or 4 XP chips that ran 3 Ghz for me with phase-change. Couple
of 2600+ mobiles and a 2700+ brownie. This 2700+ is the best XP I ever
came owned. It ran like gangbusters on air or water then I put it under
my freezer.

I don't abuse processors.... I only take what they will give and call it a day.
:D

Hey,

I won't be overclocking it at all, actually. I'm just looking for a CPU for a Novell SUSE Linux box that I'm making. What do you have available?
