Hi guys,
Put together a new PC to replace my old HP Celeron 366 out of traded parts, and it ran fine for a week then the IDE on it died, so I need an PCI IDE card (Promise, etc) so I can get this PC up and folding again. Doesnt have to be anything to modern, ATA66 would be fine. I dont have a whole lot of cash, but let me know what you have and how much. thx.
Looking for PCI IDE card

Judg, I have a very nice Promise Fasttrak 66 controller. Can be used as a regular controller or as a RAID controller.
I used it on my main workstation for a year with Raid striping.
Only problem is that Promise never released WinXP drivers for it and there's no generic ones. Works fine under Win9x or Win2K.
$15 shipped USPS unless you want to trade something. I'm always looking for all kinds of misc spare parts or a DVD movie, etc.
LMK.

Wow, I knew there'd be a few cards out there, not this many though! Anyway, FP 15$ is good. I'm running Windows 2000 Server, so itll work great for me!
I have a bunch of stuff FS/FT here's a list:
*Celeron 366 FCPGA (Socket, not slot) (Pull, but works)
*4x4x16 Yamaha SCSI CD-RW (It used to work off and on, originally an external burner, pulled out of case, dunno if it works now or what)
*Etherlink III LAN PCMCIA Card (10MB only)
*Intel 16Bit (ISA) Ethernet card - PRO/10 with RJ45, BNC, and AUI connections. This is a freaky old card! Circa 1994. Model #352122 Revision 1. Only link at intel.com is to the current driver for it.
*ATI Rage 128 AGP Cards
*ATI Mach64
*Some ISA HP SCSI card thing
*Adaptec AHA-920E SCSI controller
*Some STB video card circa 1997
*Weird combo Modem/ Sound card for an HP Pavillion
*Compaq Server NIC (basically an Intel 10/100 card) (Two of these)
*IBM DDRS-34560 4.5Gb SCSI Drive
*A Trident video card circa 1993 (MESA bus? something like that)
*ISA ESS AudioDrive soundcard, circa 1994 or so (Remember when CD-ROMs from Sony, Mitsumi and Panasonic all used diffrent IDE-like connectors and you usually needed a special sound card with onboard IDE to support it? Yeah, thats the card! PN: MW-0203124
*250MB Colorado Tape drive
*Microtec Scanmaker E3???? I don't remember owning one, but there it si *shrug*
*Some 3.5 to 5.25 drive adapters for hard drives, floppies, etc. Says on box:
CONTENTS: 1-Black Faceplate, 1-Gray Faceplate, 1-Lens (RED), 1-Lens (GRN), 1-LED w/connector (GRN), 12- 6-32 x 3/16" Screws, 4- M3 x 0.5P x 5MM, 1- Left rail, 1-Right Rail, 1- Cross Bracket
*Ummmm, a ZIP250 disk, still in it's pristine wrapping... Wonder why I've been carrying this around...
*Matrox cable - converts RGB ro S-Video and RCA composite video out
*A CueCat!
*Dreamcast 56k Modem
*Pioneer CDX-FM35 Universal CD Changer System (Bought at the goodwill, was in the PC section, but looked it up and it's for a car. No hit over at Pioneer, but various google searches hint that it's an FM modulator module, for any car - no cables or anything though.
*Adaptec 2940U2 SCSI Adapter (Link)
*Various gender changers, PS/2 to ATX changers, LED & Switches prewired that appear on cases
*Canon 120MM 12V fan pulled from an olddddd compaq server (Proprietary 12v connector removed and custom splitter added)
*Several 150W ATX PSU's (Full size)
*Gateway 2000 Motherboard & P200 CPU (Think I kept 2 or 3
*Some PPro single board
*Several dozen 30pin SIMM's
*IBM 18N DMVS 68 Pin SCSI LVD 10,000 RPM 18.2Gb HDD - I dont think it works though (Link to drive )
*New ADAPTEC 7 device SCSI2 LVD cable
