Available right now is a five month old IBM Thinkpad A22m laptop.
Price: $725 shipped UPS Ground, fully insured
The Specs:
Machine Type: 2628-CC6
- PIII800 processor (256K)
- 256MB RAM (1 slot taken, one empty)
- 20GB IBM Travelstar HDD (model: IC25N020ATDA04-0)
- 12.1" SVGA Screen (800x600) TFT LCD
- 24x-10x CD-Rom Drive (swappable)
- Mounted 3.5" Floppy Drive
- Intel Combo [internal] NIC
- 56K [internal] Modem
- Li-Ion battery (in good shape)
- Windows 98 SE Certificate of Authenticity & serial Number on back (no actual Windows 98 software on CD, just preinstalled)
The system is rock solid and in good condition. I had Windows 98SE, 2000 Pro, 2000 Server, XP Pro, RedHat Linux 7.1 and NetWare 5.1 on it. It was stable and fast with each OS. I'm selling it to get a high-end Dell or Sony with a larger screen, because I intend to do some graphics work as well from now on. At this point I'm looking to $3K laptops and need to sell this one and use the money as a downpayment.
