Ok got some suggested systems that were very nice before and he's still looking over them. But now I got a new question, oh how I love being the middleman.
Anyway he's leaning towards amd, duron is fine. Don't need a modem or nic, or video card. The systems that were offered, although very nice are about 900 mhz, he's now telling me he would rather have something in the 700ish range and a 8x CDRW, anyone have anything filling that description for 600ish shipped, and if possible with a monitor?
thanks again,
Daniel

Daniel, I still have the Duron 600 at 900 system for $599 that I can pull the Modem/NIC/Video/CDROM out and substitute a Yamaha 8X CDRW for $649. I also have a NIB (New in Box) Princeton EO90 19" Monitor and also a NIB Sony ES100 15" Monitor but I Really HATE shipping Monitors. UPS has trashed several for me and it takes forever to get a claim done thru them. LMK
