Would it be somewhat simple to add more switches to the baybus? And, do you need 3-pin fans for it?

No the baybus is a manufactuered item and the fans you attach to it use bare leads. It gets it's power from a PSU molex connector. You can put more than one fan on a channel, but you don't want to overload the amperage. For instance I wouldn't put two 120mm fans on a switch. I hope this helps.

That's a very nice setup you have and its gotta be hard to part out all the time and effort you put into it.

Hmm, ok. Would I be able to hook 2 80mm fans up to one? And, do you think I could change my 4-pin connecting fans into just the cords?

I don't see a problem with 80mm fans as long as the total draw of Amps didn't overload the switch. As for reducing your four pin connectors to bare leads that's not a big deal. Anyone else want to weigh in on this?

Was it fairly simple to make, and was it costly or not? I was looking into making my own, but don't really want to do anything major until I have the rest of the main parts I still WANT to get (another HD for RAID, burner, sound card - using onboard now, better speakers, etc).

I was going to make mine, but I bought one as my labor + parts would have been more. I havn't soldered anything in ages Check around someone might have one for sale.

That Can of PORK is genuine Regan era Govt. give away food from the 80's and is one of my favorite things. You'll have to buy this whole system, turn it into a time machine and get some fresh ones. BTW - the pork made great BB-Q sandwiches

I've had a fair number of offers for the various parts so this week I'll start seeing who wants what.

damn, if the fella in charge of buying new stuff at the office knew how much faster I could work (CAD) if I had that machine.
