Cheap video capture card and more FS/FT!

Hello all,

Now that my upgrades are on the way, it's time to move the old stuff! :D USPS Priority shipping is included, unless you're in Canada, then we can work out shipping... Here's my list:

Matrox Marvel G400 - this is a regular 16MB G400 with a separate video in/out module. Has RCA/Svideo connections, and a builtin TV tuner. Card does hardware MJPEG compression (704x480x30fps, fullscreen near-DVD quality). The only catch - the Win2k drivers don't work that well... there is excellent driver support under Linux however. Card works great under Win98!

$100

HP Jetdirect Printserver - 10BaseT/BNC ports and a parallel port to hook to your printer. Works with any model parallel printer, does not have to be an HP! All docs and software included

$55

Philips Acoustic Edge - got the card with all cables and the drivers, I think I even have the PowerDVD 3.0 CD that came with it... card works perfectly, but it's overkill for me.

$45 SOLD!

Trades I'm looking for:

Slot 1 processor, at least a stock P3-600, no Celerons please...
Decent IDE burner, rewrite capability would be nice but I'll take what I can get... Burnproof would be nice though...

Thanks,

Dave

Sent you mail, but I'll still ask here just in case you see this first: trade 256MB 7ns (133 Cas2, 141 Cas3) Micron DIMM for the Acoustic Edge?

Does the Matrox capture card work with Premiere 6?
Did you try the lastest win2k drivers?

Pezmel,

Yes, it does work with Premiere 6.... I don't have my capture setup working ATM but I've done captures with it in the past... mostly my problems were totally unrelated to capture, just random blue screens on boot. I've got the latest Matrox drivers and video tools installed and they seem to work reasonably well.
